Colin Rills is a photojournalist based in Rochester, N.Y., and Chief Photo Editor at Reporter Magazine, the student news magazine of the Rochester Institute of Technology. He covers protests, campus life, community events and sports, and leads Reporter’s photo department.

Originally from New Orleans, Rills is a junior at RIT studying computer science with a minor in photography. He is especially interested in the intersection of photojournalism and data journalism, using reporting and code together to tell stories.

He is available for assignments in Rochester and western New York.
